What is a good "pill" probiotic to take? With no dairy I'm not able to get it from yogurts and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with some of the non-dairy options, i.e. growing my own bacteria to eat and having no clue what I'm doing Smiley.

Hi Matt,

For non-dairy, commerically available probiotics made from foods on your green list, unpaturized sauerkraut (canning kills the good bacteria) and probiotics cultured from coconut milk should work for you.  Because they are cultured under conditions that favor good bacteria and are not friendly to yeast, the fermentation part should not be a problem for you.  In fact, the probiotics should help quite a bit.
