Share Your Arthritis Success Story

One of the biggest reasons people with arthritis don’t heal is that they have never heard of anyone else who has.  They don’t even imagine it is possible.

If you have benefited from one of my Conquering Arthritis products:  the book, the DVD, the guided meditation CDs, the online video coaching course, or direct one-on-one phone or email coaching with me, one of the most valuable things you can do to “pay it forward” is to share your own personal  success story.

I would love for you to share with me your story so that I can share it with others.  Particularly powerful are details like how much your blood work, pain levels and functioning has improved.     Hi Ferdinand,

    It takes about 7 days for the inflammation to go away, once you are no longer eating anything that is triggering your inflammation.

    The only way I know to make the inflammation go away faster is to fast. Then it takes about three days for the inflammation to clear.

    To lessen the inflammation elevation and ice can help.

    The juices you mention are fine as long as they don’t have anything in the container or added during processing that triggers you. Since you have done well on them, I don’t think there is any problem.

    If you only have a food one day and then have a three day break, that helps keep the food safe. You may already be rotating your juices in this way. If not, it would be a good idea to rotate them.

    Hi Barbara,

    Its been awhile since we had last talked over the phone.

    I had been going thru your courses as per the time frame.

    I had received the 1st DVD Disk and Thank you very much . I had seen the DVD and learned a lot.

    I was quite depress the past few weeks but still find the courage to continue and understand the reasons behind .

    My feet got swollen only 3 days ago , I was trying on that time one small piece of duck meat (10mm thick x 50mm long) and had also eaten only one small bowl of Fried rice noodles and see how it goes . After 2 hours of biking ( 20:00 to 22:00) that night , I started to feel some pain just the bone below my right toe , some prickling sensation, then after that ,By 02:30 in the morning , I was awakened by the pain on the same area , and couldn’t sleep as it was quite painful , Its my first time to experience such pain.
    But before that Dinner , I did had my usual vegetable juices of Cabbage , Carrot and Pear to which I had no allergies to.
    I did tried a lot of other vegetables and types of fish and had no problems on it either .
    On that same day (12May2012) , Below are what i had eaten before I tried the Duck meat and had this effect :
    Morning -8:30 and another one at around 11:30 , Just the usual vegetable juices – carrot , papaya , avocado juice . I had tried this combinations a lot of time and no problem .
    Late Lunch -13:30 My first time again to introduce Raddish Cake – steamed , we just bought them in the Chinese restaurant so not sure of whats in there . Only ate 2 small pieces ( around 5cm x 5cm ) .

    18:30 – Took some Grapefruit juice (fresh) x 400ml .

    Dinner – Was around 19:30-20:00 , Took the vegetables first which was just plain boiled bok choy , no salt ,msg and others .
    then took , Fried rice noodles , one small bowl just to try . And lastly , Just one piece of the Duck mentioned above.
    I know it was a wrong food combination but took the risk . And this is what happened , swollen joint just below the right toe after
    around 7 hours .

    By 6:30 Am the next morning(13May2012) , It had swollen around the sides of the bone just below the right toe ,to around 2 cm in diameter . Couldnt walk as it was painful specially when I put down my feet from the bed.

    8AM = I took Ginger , Pineapple , carrot juices .

    10Am = took the same thing .

    1300 = took Pineapple , ginger juice and some grapes to eat .

    Had added grounded flax seeds to juices (2 tbsp each time) .

    Most afternoon and evening were just the juices above plus some pear and grape juices combined together .
    flaxseed oil 1000mg x 2 capsules each time and twice per day ( Morning , & Night time)

    14May 2012 – Left foot just between the toes and the leg , that surface was swollen but not as reddish yet but can feel the pain .
    Still took ginger , pineapple ,carrot , pear and added some bitter cucumber , all in juice form .
    Had my first detox of the day after two days . Not much improvement ,Still painful . Just drank juices the whole day and water
    and flaxseed oil 1000mg x 2 capsules each time and twice per day .

    15May2012 – Not as painful but still swollen , still took the same thing above but added bitter cucumber and cabbage juices . Minimized the ginger since there are some rashes on my arms and body . This probably is the effect of too much ginger as its quite hot for the body . so probably it just expels thru rashes ( Spots of red along arms and chest ) . Anyway, Will see tomorrow if I don’t take ginger and just take vegetable juices .

    My questions are if you can help me and guide me through :
    1. How long does it take to get back to not being swollen . I know its different for every individual . Just approximate only so I have a guide .
    2. Are the juices above ok or do I need to change something there .
    3. are there other ways to overcome the swollen foot ? I am walking in pain and can only take baby steps . And what I found out also, Is if the foot is always on the ground like when you are in sitting position , the pain increases , but when I rest my legs and feet on the bed like lying there , The swell decreases and not much in pain.

    cannot do much the usual things and quite annoyed and not happy as I was already improving then a set back again .
    Anyway, hopefully its a short term setback , at least I now know my body is not ready yet .

    Hope you can give me some advice and support to go thru this .
